This is the original Spice Bus that fans will know and love from the movie Spice World but with an interior makeover. Working with some incredible designers, we’ve turned it into accommodation so you can stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dreams. The bus has the added bonus of being situated in an stunning location overlooking the marina. There is a Bar, Restaurant and a small shop on site. You can reach us by land, air or sea!
The outside of the bus looks exactly as it did in the Spice World movie, with its iconic Union Jack-painted exterior. I’m a huge fan of the band and have tried to include as many little touches as possible inspired by the girls and their music, to make the inside just as iconic as the outside! Inside, guests will have the run of both floors, which have been lovingly renovated with little nods to each of the Spice Girls and some fairly bold interiors. The bus can sleep up to three people, with two sharing a double bed and one on a single day bed. Downstairs: The driver’s seat remains at the front of the bus – sadly no Meatloaf! Towards the back of the bus there’s a spacious seating area with a table and three Union Jack cinema-style chairs for relaxing in front of the TV or listening to Wannabe on repeat on the old school CD player. Upstairs: There is a double bed at the back of the bus, as well as a day bed, which can accommodate a third guest if needed. There is also a separate dressing room area, complete with rail and dressing table – perfect for Spice Girl-inspired makeovers. Please note, I have no official affiliation with the Spice Girls - I just want fellow fans to enjoy the Spice Bus as much as I have. I’m looking for guests who share my love of the Spice Girls, have a verified Airbnb profile and have great reviews! Please also identify your guests when requesting to book. A facilities block will be located a few steps from the bus for your private use. In the facilities block, there will be a toilet, sink and shower room, as well as toiletries and towels. Within this block there is also a kitchenette area with a sink, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is a mini fridge inside the bus. Note, there are no bathroom facilities on the bus itself. As the bus still has it’s original structure, there are a number of steps so unfortunately, it is not suited for all accessibility needs. Other things to note: ● There are no kitchen facilities or running water on the bus. There are shops and a restaurant within a minutes’ walk ● There is no WiFi on the bus, there is WiFi at the onsite bar/restaurant ● The bus will be located on Island Harbour Marina ● All guests must be 12 years or older ● The bus sleeps three people ● Height restrictions are 1.7 metres so watch your head! ● Towels will be provided in the separate facilities block ● The bus has electricity points Please also note there is no smoking on the bus or within the grounds and sadly no pets allowed!
The bus is located within a stunning marina based on the River Medina, just 2 miles from Newport town centre where there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. It is reachable on foot within approximately 25 minutes or there is a bus stop half a mile up the lane. You will also find Medina Leisure Centre and Theatre close by. The Isle of Wight is an incredible place to visit, for what's going on during your stay take a look at Visit Isle of Wight!

Driftwood is a luxury, converted boathouse with stunning views of the creek from every room. It's in an area of outstanding natural beauty. You'll love the pool, kayaking up the creek, fishing from the pontoons, cosy log-burner and amazing sunsets. Driftwood is a beautiful converted boathouse on the water's edge, in the woodland grounds of our home. With creek views from every room, it's a great place to unwind and escape all year round. Relax and BBQ by the large pool, fish and crab from the private pontoons and slipways or use one of the kayaks to paddle up Wootton Creek (an area of outstanding natural beauty and haven for wildlife). In winter you can cosy up next to the huge log-burner and truly relax. Driftwood is ideal for walkers and cyclists as it's on the Isle of Wight Coastal Path, only 5 minutes walk from the Fishbourne Ferry; easy if you want to leave your car at home. A local bike hire company will arrange for hire bikes to be delivered to you as soon as you arrive so you'll be able to use the numerous cycle ways to explore the beautiful island scenery. On the ground floor there is a spacious open-plan dining, kitchen and living area with oak floors and a large log-burner. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large American fridge freezer and Dualit Nespresso coffee machine. There's also a shower and toilet, a utility room with washing machine and microwave, and a large entrance hall. Double doors open to the patio area next to the pool, where there is teak dining furniture and a Weber barbecue. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with a double bed and ensuite shower room, and two additional double bedrooms with twin beds in each. The large family bathroom has his and hers sinks plus a luxurious roll-top bath where you can relax and enjoy the views over the creek. The very large south-facing swimming pool projects out into the creek and provides a panoramic view as you relax on the loungers, settee and chairs and enjoy the sunset. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people but can stretch to 7 if the downstairs day-bed is used. (There is an extra charge of £30 for extra linen and towels if the day bed is required). You have access to the whole house, the pool ( shared with our family), pontoons and slipways. You are also welcome to share the grounds with us. We don’t want you to go home without seeing the red squirrels, wood peckers and buzzards . We’ll pop down to see you when you arrive or whenever you want us, but won’t if you don’t! Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum of 2 dogs). Please let us know if you would like to bring a dog. We ask that they are kept downstairs and not left alone in the main living area. There is a tiled hallway where they can look out of the door at the view! There is an extra cleaning charge of £30 per dog. This will be requested as an extra charge through Airbnb. We live on a quiet leafy lane, just 5 minutes walk from the car ferry, the award-winning local pub and Fishbourne beach. Fishbourne has its own very friendly yacht club so if you’re a sailor or would like to be one, just let us know and we can organise a day’s sailing or some lessons. Walk 10 minutes along the coastal path and you’ll find Quarr Abbey with its beautiful church, ancient ruins, fantastic café, farm shop, nature trails and pigs. Fishbourne is centrally located and is a great base for exploring the whole Island. We are just 9 minutes drive from the Isle of Wight Festival site. Cowes with its famous August sailing week, is just 20 minutes away. By car: There are 2 parking spaces right next to the boathouse. By bicycle: If you bring your own, you can store it in our shed. We provide cycling maps and a pump! The Isle of Wight is a cyclists’ paradise with lots of fantastic cycle routes and a cycling festival ( in October). You can hire bikes from Two Elements in Cowes and they will deliver the bikes to you. By foot: You can walk from the ferry and don’t have to bring your car. We are right on the Isle of Wight coastal path so you can walk anywhere, very easily! We provide walking maps and lots of suggestions for the best places to go. There is a Walking Festival in September. By bus: The bus stop is 10 minutes walk away. Buses will take you all over the Isle of Wight. By air: The nearest airport is Southampton, but Bournemouth, Gatwick and Heathrow are all good as well. If you have your own small plane you can land on the Island at Bembridge and we will come and get you. By private boat: If you'd like to arrive by boat just let us know. We can arrange for you to be picked up in Portsmouth and transported by very fast rib directly to our pontoon (weather and tide dependant of course). If you have your own boat, you can moor it on our pontoon during your stay. Just contact us to find out more. Because of its beautiful location, our house has been used for photo shoots. Please get in contact if you would like to arrange a shoot. It's not far to go if you'd like to rent a rib, learn to drive one or have a fast rib ride. Our good friends and neighbours, Rebel Marine, are right next door and will arrange everything for you. If it's a nice day, we might use the pool too but it’s so big there’s plenty of room for all of us! The pool is heated to remove the chill; please don't expect it to be hot! The pool is open from May to end of September. It is the only pool on the island that is right on the water.

Ryde Town Ryde is the largest town on the Isle of Wight, and with its prominent position along the seafront and hovercraft and passenger ferry links it is little wonder it is often referred to as “The Gateway to the Island”. In addition to an expanse of sandy beaches which stretch right along the town, Ryde has a great selection of boutique shops, museums and galleries for you to visit along with lots of other things to see and do along its esplanade. Hovertravel are the world’s oldest hovercraft operator and operate the last remaining hovercraft passenger service in Britain, whereas a trip on the Wightlink catamaran service will take you down Ryde’s recently restored early 19th century pier, which carries both vehicle traffic and train services. Head along Ryde esplanade and you will encounter a number of great places for family entertainment, including the Superbowl and LaserQuest. Further along there is a fun fair for young children and a very popular canoe lake which leads on to Ryde’s sandy beaches. Ryde, East Wight, Bretland

My beautiful, cosy cottage is located in the heart of Ryde on the Isle of Wight, in easy walking distance of the town centre, travel links such as the bus station, Fastcat, Hovercraft and trains, as well as beaches, shops, restaurants and beautiful walks. It is an ideal location for couples, small families, friends and business trips. The cottage is quirky and cute, perfect for a peaceful getaway yet close to all amenities.
My place is an old fisherman's cottage, lovingly restored to create a cosy seaside retreat. The interior and exterior of the property have been recently re-decorated in the last two years, with new carpets, beds and furniture. Slightly wonky floors add to the character and history of the cottage.
My neighbourhood is unique as it is extremely close to the town centre, yet on a quiet road surrounded by lovely neighbours and a church! On Sunday mornings you may wake up to the sound of church bells and hymn singing. The cottage is situated within walking distance of the high-street, where you can find shops and restaurants.

The room is in a house based in Newport on the Isle of Wight close to a shop. Space is small but has what you need. It is highly suitable for short stay guests such as cyclists, walkers and explorers. It`s designed for guests who want a roof over their heads with some comfort. It has on-suit facilities and is self-contained...There is a bunk bed so two people can stay, but it is really only suitable for one..... Please contact me before booking if you are not sure about the place.
My self contained bolt hole is suitable for a solo traveller: e.g Cyclist, Ramblers, Island Explorers, Sportsperson and guests who are not looking for the Ritz, but a small place to sleep, cook and watch TV and not cost too much. The room is small. It`s not luxurious, but comfortable. It`s suitable for a younger person.
The house and room are located in a built up neighbourhood. There is a narrow driveway and garden where you can sit at a picnic bench. The washing machine and dryer are outside with pay meter. Takes 20p coins (used to take pound coins, but won`t accept the new £1 coin ) The room has an electric meter that takes pound coins. even the new £1 coin.

Fullkominn staður ef þú ert að leita að einhverju ódýru á Isle of Wight. Ég myndi mæla með því 100%. Þakka þér fyrir!

We love the ‘vintage’ atmosphere of the Isle of Wight. It’s much lampooned as being stuck some-where in 1955 … suits us! That small stretch of water seems to make a big difference. Now, we aren’t all walking around like characters from an Ealing Comedy – there are of course many 2015-worthy activities and things to do – have a look online to find out more or ask us if there is anything specific you are looking for. The landscape is so varied that it is a bit like the whole of England condensed into a small island. We have fabulous beaches for surf dudes and Enid Blyton fans alike, miles of wonderful walking country (much in designated areas of outstanding natural beauty), forests, marshes and great cycle routes. There are lots of quirky places to visit – our favourites include the Havenstreet Steam Railway, Dimbola Lodge, Godshill Model Village and the shrine to all things kitsch Blackgang Chine ‘fantasy park’. There are the great classics such as Osborne House, Needles Battery and Quarr Abbey – you will never be lost for something to do and most attractions are reasonably priced. There’s a Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Farm Visits, Dinosaur Museums, Roman Villas, Alpaca and Donkey sanctuaries …. you get the picture! Activities that are popular with our guests are Tree Climbing, Water-sports, Paragliding, Ice-skating and Cycling .. deckchair lounging is also very keenly taken up. Once you have done all of that you will be hungry …. there are so many choices these days, the Islands food scene has gained national recognition and you can eat delicious locally sourced produce, beautifully presented, in many different places now – from pubs to Michelin * restaurants. Ooh and of course …. afternoon tea!
  • Dásamlegur nótt í Gloria, hún er einföld en ljómandi! Lovely staður, frábær aðstaða, fullkomin staðsetning. Gæti ekki beðið um meira. Vildi að við gistum lengur!

A light and airy lower ground floor basement flat close to local amenities and ferry services to the mainland. The flat has 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, a kitchen and bathroom and separate large living room with a dining table that seats 4. There is a private outdoor space and use of a shared garden with a BBQ. Please note there is a friendly dog in the garden at times. There is no allocated parking but there is a public car park within 75m of the flat and is rarely full.
The flat is lower ground but surprisingly light. You will have use of a private area and access to a shared garden. Located along the historic Esplanade, among other similar impressive buildings, this property, has expansive curved windows, ornate cornices, chandeliers and tall ceilings. It is light and bright with a spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen, power shower, WIFI and large smart TV. Wake up to the sound and sight of the sea from the bedroom. Additional guests can use the comfortable sofa bed with separate access to the bathroom. Watch the ever changing scenery tides and cruise/sailing ships.
This apartment is located directly opposite the harbour, where there is a cocktail/wine bar and coffee shops. To the right is Appley Beach, which leads to Appley Tower, Puckpool Park, the Canoe Lake, Waterside Swimming pool (with retractable roof for warm weather) and beautiful walks to Seaview and beyond. All along the coast there are affordable eateries - some specialising in seafood. There is also a bowling green (very friendly people) and a Ten Pin bowling alley. To the left is Ryde Castle Hotel, with a beer garden and good eats! Further along you will find the hovercraft, bus and rail station, Catamaran and the town centre. Behind the house you will find a great fish and chip shop, grocery, coffee/antique shop and newsagents. Nothing is more than a few minutes walk so a car is unnecessary. The shops in Ryde's Union Street include a small supermarket, restaurants and bars, as well as boutique shops and a small farmer's market with local produce (try the IOW cheese!)
A great location for walks to Seaview and along the coast.

The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom, twin bedroom, shower room, kitchen/diner and upstairs lounge area which has the original old wooden beams. The spacious outdoor space is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday in a rural setting and comes with plenty of parking and a large pond which is full of wildlife and fish. This popular resort town offers a varied selection of holiday facilities for all interests and ages. Ryde seafront has children’s fun-fair, amusements, bowling alley, Canoe Lake and much more. The wide, sandy beach stretches approximately one mile to the popular Appley beach from where you can walk along the revetment to the sailing village of Seaview. Ryde town and seafront has a variety of shops, gift shops, supermarkets, bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Ryde is the second major town on the Island and an important arrival and embarkation point for foot passengers. Ryde Pier (the fourth longest pier in Britain, at 703m/2305ft) is a prominent landmark with its passenger ferry terminal, railway and bus station. The Hovercraft that speeds foot passengers between Southsea and Ryde has its terminal located adjacent to the station. Tesco Extra supermarket and McDonald’s is less than 2 miles from the property and here you will also find Wight Karting offering exciting go-karting for adults and children and a tone zone gym. Plenty of footpaths from The Old Dairy makes this an ideal location for keen walkers and cyclists. PLEASE NOTE: NO WI-FI & Children must be supervised at all times due to the large unfenced pond.
Ryde offers a great variety of things to do which will interest all ages, not least of which are the hovercraft and catamaran ferry from which you can travel to and from the mainland. At low tide the sea goes out a long way making it a popular place for sports and outdoor activities, and a regular venue for beach soccer tournaments.
