“Monal is fast becoming the iconic spot for tourists coming to Islamabad. Situated on a mountain top, the restaurant serves quality food in pleasant ambience. The view from the top is breathtaking. In case of official lunches/dinners it is appropriate to book in advance. The place gets really crowded on the weekends.”

“The Centaurus Mall also includes entertainment in the form of a play area for children, known as "Fun City[7]", and a movie cinema, known as "The Centaurus Cinema[8]", which shows some of the latest Lollywood and Hollywood movies. Both the play area and the cinema are located on the fourth floor of the mall.cated on the fourth floor, The Centaurus food court offers plenty of food options for shoppers, as there is a wide variety of restaurants and fast food chains such as McDonald's, Subway, Hardee's, Tayto, OPTP, Chachajee, and others.[9] International coffee shops and cafes such as Gloria Jeans, Cinnabon, Second Cup, and Pappa Roti,[10] are also located throughout the mall. Moreover, there are plenty of snack, drink, and ice cream booths in the food court and littered throughout the mall that offer drinks, slushies, popcorn, cotton candy, dry fruits, and nuts.moreover it has all brands outlet and people prefer to do shopping”

Mosque
“The Faisal Mosque is definitely the most iconic structure and symbol of not just Islamabad, but all of Pakistan. It is the largest mosque in the country and can be seen from almost everywhere in Islamabad. The mosque is so massive that it covers an area of 5,000 m2 and can accommodate over 250,000 worshipers in its inside and outside grounds. It is certainly sight for sore eyes with its impressive and unique design. Usually Mosques are dome shaped but this one is shaped like a ‘desert Bedouin’s tent’.”

“Daman-e-Koh is a viewing point and hill top garden north of Islamabad and located in the middle of the Margalla Hills. Its name is a conjunction of two Persian words, which together means foot hills. It is about 2400ft from sea level and almost 500ft from the city of Islamabad. It is a popular destination for the residents as well as the visitors to the capital.”

“It’s good to visit this public place close to Kashmir highway near Islamabad if you have time of around two to three hours, you can walk and enjoy multiple type of entertainments. Especially I would like to mention fun in boating rides.”

“Lok Virsa’s mandate has been to PRESERVED, DOCUMENTES and PROMOTES  Cultural Heritage (both tangible and intangible). The earlier focus had been more on the first two aspects. Currently, the focus will be on the promotion of Folk Heritage of Pakistan in a way that is relevant to people of all ages and backgrounds and to provide more meaning, depth and rootedness in life.”

Route
“I just love trekking here on Trail 5. It has three different paths. One connects to another trail (i.e. Trail 3), one is the normal one which has a spring called Ficus Spring and the last one is named as Trail 5 Dangerous. Trail 5 is unique in this regard that its terrain is at some point steep and at some point plain. So you'll have a good combination of hard and relax time with the exception of the Trail 5 Dangerous. The Ficus Spring has a refreshing experience. You can refill your water bottles with the natural and fresh/clean water from the spring and can even splash some water on your face for refreshing.”

“Shah Allah ditta is a nice place to hangout with friends and family. Few local food hubs around offering from breakfast to late night BBQ. Caves are not huge in size but still have a unique attraction due to its calmness and historical design. Ancient water pool is also there where you can see local fish and a nearby water spring also adds beauty to this place. For dining although there are multiple options but I would personally recommend “saadhu’s retreat” which has better facilities as compared to others, they also arrange musical events occasionally and have some small scale activities for children attraction. Breakfast at their upper terrace is also a unique experience. At caves and nearby spots one can roam around freely without any feeling of discomfort as people are friendly and welcoming. Good place for families and medium size groups specially.”
