“Water. That's what first attracted people, and they have been coming here ever since to use these soothing thermal waters to heal and relax. Rich and poor alike came for the baths, and a thriving city built up around the hot springs. Together nicknamed "The American Spa," Hot Springs National Park today surrounds the north end of the city of Hot Springs, Arkansas. ”

“AWESOMENESS!! If you truly want to know what they used to do to people, this is the place to go! It is a museum and captures echos of a past time that is filled with the energy of breakthrough. It's like revisiting the fountain of youth only a few hundred years advanced. (PS. the fountain of youth is in St. Augustine, FL. That is pretty cool too but don't drink the water!!)”

“A short ride on the cyclist friendly Park Avenue will connect you to phase one of the IMBA rated Hot Springs world-class Northwoods Trails, which include 15+ miles of mountain biking trails. Construction of the park began in November 2017 with plans for a 44.6 mile system of trails on the 2000 acre property in the Northern section of Hot Springs. This project represents an ongoing, collaborative effort to establish Hot Springs as one of the premier mountain biking destination in the United States. The Northwoods system includes Green, Blue and Black single track, multi-track, flow trails, jump lines and the Lucky 13 expert section.”

“This place is great for kids, but also, hikers, fresbie golfers, and rc car enthusiasts. They also have a mini run way for large remote control planes! They have creeks, pavilions, a large tree house, and grills so you can bring the whole family and make a day of it! They have perfect spots to fly a kite on a nice day and a rock climbing wall you can reserve as well. There are two sides to this park each with its’s own a playground! ”
