“High energy, very busy and popular mall housing a large variety of shops from Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co to Nordstroms, Bloomingdales and JC Penney’s. Macy’s has two locations at Aventura Mall and major sales events are a regular occurrence at this department store. “Affordable Luxury” is their mantra and popular US designer brands such as Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger are featured. Be sure to ask any sales associate for current in house specials, to get maximum bang for your dollar, across all departments. International tourists automatically receive a 10% discount by showing their passports. H&M, Urban Outfitters and JC Pennys are other good bets for scoring good deals. In all, Aventura Mall houses over 300 brand name stores and several dining options. Plan on spending all day here, a couple of hours is simply not enough.”

“Visit PAMM and learn about modern, contemporary and international art. Exhibitions highlight Miami’s diverse community and pivotal geographic location at the crossroads of the Americas. In addition to exploring the galleries, visitors can: enjoy waterfront dining at Verde restaurant; shop a unique selection of art books, furnishings and handmade items at the museum’s gift store; and take in the spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the elaborate hanging gardens. Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, PAMM provides an educational and civic forum for the County’s residents and visitors alike.”

“Lincoln Road is a world-famous shopping & dining promenade in the heart of South beach that features more than 200 national retailers, designer brands, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes. In South Beach, Lincoln Road is the place to be. Arguably Miami's most well-known shopping center, the Lincoln Road Mall in South Beach is full of stores, boutiques, art galleries, and museums. Nearly the entire area of this open-air mall is closed to automobile traffic, making it a great place to stroll and people watch. You'll find Urban Outfitters, Madewell, Steve Madden, Melissa Shoes, Scotch & Soda, Nike, Lacoste, Forever 21, Adidas by Stella McCartney, BCBG Max Azria, Anthropologie, Ted Baker, Zara, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, Zadig & Voltaire, Lululemon Athletica, and more. There are over 50 eateries in this 10-block stretch, so it is a true diner's paradise. These restaurants include Sushi Samba, Yard House, Mr. Bing, Pizza Rustica, Meat Market, Yuca, La Provence South Beach, Lokum Mediterranean Grill, Nexxt Café, and Rosa Mexicano. There are also a few breweries and hookah lounges like D’Vine Hookah Lounge, Hofbrau Beerhall, and The Abbey Brewing Co. Most stores are open daily from 10am – 11pm. Many restaurants, bars, and cafes on Lincoln Road remain open after the retail stores close.”

“Come shop in a place where old-world architecture, beautiful fountains, and sidewalk cafes create an atmosphere strikingly reminiscent of a European town center. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts borders the west side of CityPlace and walking north on Rosemary Avenue will take you straight into the Historic Clematis Street area.”

“When you first show up at Bodega, you could easily mistake it for a popular neighborhood taqueria. Between the Airstream trailer serving tacos and the picnic tables, it looks like a low-key spot. It is that, but as you see the Ubers full of models and clubgoers arriving and disappearing into the small taco joint, you get a sense there might be something more going on. Look around for a guy with an earpiece at the back of the room and tell him your friend sent you, and you might just get directed to a back door that looks like an entrance to a Porta Potti. Pass through here and you’ll enter a graffiti-filled men’s washroom. It’s only after passing through yet another door that you will enter one of South Beach’s hot hidden nightclubs. The mixologists have an extensive menu that relies heavily on “illegal” mezcal, and the DJ keeps the room pumping all through the night. It caters to a friendly, slightly older crowd and makes for a good introduction to the South Beach scene minus the cover charge and lineups that you’ll find at clubs closer to the beach.”
