Cable Car
“Take the 15 minute ride the tram up to the top of Sandia Peak for spectacular views of Albuquerque and 11,000 square miles of the surrounding area. There is a new restaurant at the top: Ten 3 (referencing the 10,300 ft. elevation). We have not eaten there yet but we hear it is quite good. HINT: time your trip so you go up a half hour before sunset. From the top, you can watch the sunset and the lights of Albuquerque coming to life, giving you will have a different experience each way. Also, get your tickets online to save time and secure your time slot.”

“It is hard to pick any one brewery to recommend as there are so many award-winning ones. Marble frequently has live music on an outdoor stage and a great vibe. As with most breweries, there are food trucks outside.”

“Their cinnamon rolls are unique, huge, and to die for. Order one and try it. This is a place I take first timers. You can also buy ones that are frozen to take home, but you have to buy a tray of them to do this. You can also go to Golden Pride Drive up for the same menu.”

“Visit the original site of downtown Albuquerque, centuries old. There are frequent performances of music and dance on the main plaza. Too many good restaurants there to list and plenty of art galleries, interesting stores, churches and monuments.”
