“My FAVORITE restaurant in Paris. In the Grand Palais museum. You must book a table on the terrace if the weather is good. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Quite expensive. ”

“Just off the Champs-Élysées, this former Russian cabaret held on to its baroque decor: gilded banquettes, walls draped in velvet, ornate chandeliers, and alcoves. These days it attracts a young, moneyed crowd who come to drink cocktails and Champagne and dance. It’s both a cabaret, where Dita Von Teese has performed, and a club with burlesque shows. This is one of the most exclusive clubs in the capital, so you’ll want to dress the part. It’s not a sneakers and jeans kind of place.”

“Check the programs before. Entrance might be difficult (as in most clubs in Paris). Much more select than "Mori7", but you picked-up the 16th district after all !”

“This restaurant/bar/lounge, located on the ultra-chic Faubourg St Honoré, was created thanks to the visionary imagination of its founder Raymond Visan, owner of the famous Barfly in Paris. On a constant quest for new ideas gathered during his numerous trips, particularly to California, Mr. Visan launched the Buddha-Bar that rapidly became the “place to be” of the French capital.”

Leikhús
“The Salle Gaveau was built in 1906/1907 and was immediately one of the most prestigious concert halls of Paris. Its focus lies on piano and chamber music concerts. The First World War did not interrupt the artistic activity at the Salle Gaveau - the hall hosted charity galas for soldiers and war victims. In 1963 the Salle Gaveau faced financial collapse and it wasn't until 1975 that it was acquired and revived by two musicians, Chantal and Jean-Marie Fournier. The Salle Gaveau has hosted some of the most prestigious international musicians such as Montserrat Caballé, Jessye Norman, Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovitch and Martha Argerich. ”
