Enjoy Central Park views from your bedroom window! This is the ideal room for those who like easy access to the high energy city by day, but prefer to come home to a peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood to get a good night of rest. Please read the whole profile, most of your questions will be answered below! :)
Although I live in the apartment as well, guests will have full privacy in the guest area of my apartment with a private bedroom, private bathroom, and undisturbed entrance. You're welcome to use my shared living room and kitchen like it's your own home, with stunning views of Central Park's wooded forest. This is a perfect place for those visiting Columbia University, which is only three blocks away. There is space for a third and fourth guest on the sofa bed and couch in the living room, at additional cost. I don't recommend bringing a fifth guest (it will feel cramped!) but if you need to, there is additional space in the living room, two on the queen sofa bed, one on the regular couch.
The building has everything you need: laundry, a room to store bicycles, and an elevator so you don't have to walk up the stairs after a long day of exploring the city.
You'll have access to your private bedroom and bathroom, my living room, kitchen, and laundry room. If necessary, you can use my bathroom as well, though it's more comfortable and private for guests to use the guest room bathroom.
While there is NO private parking at the building, there is free public parking on all the streets in my neighborhood. It can take 5-20 minutes to find a parking spot, depending on time of day. As me for more details.

My bedroom, living room, and kitchen are in the far side of the apartment, so you'll have complete privacy while you're in your room. I work long hours, so I won't be home during the day (although if I am out of town for work, I will have a family member or trusted friend house-sitting for me). However, if you need anything at all, don't hesitate to text or call me. Even if it's just for a good recommendation on where to eat!

Please note that there are families in the apartments on both sides of me. This is a place for relaxation and rest, so please be respectful of my neighbors. When you are in the elevator and common hallways, please respect my neighbors and their families' privacy. Thanks!
This space is LGBT friendly and I do not discriminate against anyone. Please maintain the respectful vibe!
- Unapproved check-out after 11am incurs late fee of the price of one night

- Close windows to use Air Conditioner, turn off when not home
- Don't drink my wine/beer/liquor (I will notice if you do)
I was born in Manhattan and raised in the suburbs, but I've been back in the city since grad school. I'm an avid world traveler, and I finally visited my 100th country last year! I always appreciate authentic local experiences and food more than the touristy spots, and I'm happy to share my knowledge of New York with my guests.
