We encourage personal interaction and relaxation, because of this, we do not have a TV in the main living area. TVs are however provided in each bedroom. As a result, this house would NOT be ideal for a large NFL party.
We know that people feel most comfortable in their own home and we're hoping that by staying at our place, you can enjoy that same comfort while on vacation or coming home from work.
Here are a few guidelines we’d ask that you follow during your stay – of course we cannot cover every detail but we’d ask you practice common sense and courtesy….if you have a questions feel free to ask anytime!
The house is waterfront, therefore, if you are traveling with small children, please be aware of their whereabouts at all times.
Even though we do permit animals to accompany you during your stay, we do ask that you be mindful while they are in the house or run in the backyard. We also request that you keep them leashed at all times while in the front yard (as there are often walkers, joggers and bicyclists on our street). Please be mindful to pick up all your pet's droppings and dispose of them in the exterior trash can. There is an additional cleaning fee of $25.00 for pets.
Smokers are permitted to smoke outside, however our home is 100% smoke free. If you do smoke outside, we ask that you be courteous when it comes to disposing of butts. We also ask that you keep all windows and doors closed while smoking outside
We offer an outdoor grill. Please let us know if you plan to make use of the grill during your stay. Also, please be sure to clean the grill grates after each use. By using the grill you assume all responsibility and agree to hold us harmless.
Please be careful not to flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.
Absolutely no non-prescription drugs will be tolerated on the property or in the house!
We and our neighbors enjoy the quiet evenings on the water and hope you will too, so please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
Please ask us if you plan to hold a gathering which exceeds the number of registered guests.
We do have scented candles in the house. While we do not mind you making use of the candles we ask that you please use caution and only allow them to burn while you are present.
The house does have a fireplace (wood burning), however please ask us before using it.
Please be mindful of the love and hard work we have put into the home to make your stay as comfortable as possible and leave the apartment clean and undamaged. If you are renting by the month, we'd be happy to provide you with cleaning/linen-exchange service once a week at an additional fee of $95.00.

Hello! I have worked for years in property management (long-term leasing) and residential remodeling. Because most of my passions revolve around travel and design I fell in love with the Airbnb concept.....visit exotic places and get a feel for people's culture and space.
Mostly, I have used this site as a guest and I have had some great experiences! After my most recent remodel I decided to use the home as way of experiencing the other side of this site - as a host! I enjoy meeting new folks and I love entertaining.....regardless if you have me as a guest or I host you in my place, you will find I'm personable, very clean, quite hospitable, and a slight perfectionist! I look forward to hopefully meeting you!
Passions - travel, art, design, residential remodeling, antiques, portrait painting, and old boat restoration.
Favorite Vacation Spots - Southern Germany and Austria ( I love the German Alps), Aland Islands (between Finland and Sweden - we have a small Island there), and France.
