This clean and quaint suite resides behind of a newly renovated Dutch Colonial Revival, constructed in 1901. Its stylish and modern décor harmonize seamlessly with its minimalistic furnishings. It's central location puts you close to hospitals, restaurants and mass transit. It offers a full kitchen complete with full size range, microwave and refrigerator. Enjoy the convenience of free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, and refrigerated air.

This clean and private suite is conveniently located in the historic-quaint Huning Highland Historic Neighborhood. It is walking distance from Albuquerque’s Rapid Transit line, excellent restaurants, cafes, Salons, Yoga, the Special Collections Public Library and much more just one mile west in Downtown Albuquerque.
The suite has private access complete with private bathroom with fresh towels, a cute eat-in full kitchen equipped with, a freestanding gas range, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and all the necessary utensils for your convenience. It boast a natural gas vent-free blue flame wall heater and the sweet comforts of a modern ductless mini split air conditioning and heater combination. The Vizio Full HD SmartCast TV is pre-connected to free high speed Wi-Fi. And, it’s best feature is the Vista Series pocketed spring Plush Queen Mattress that’s engineered to deliver deep conforming sleep and support, purchased November 2020.
The upkeep and maintenance of the space is done by a professional service. COVID conscious.
Cleaning mid-stay is available for longer duration bookings.
Free single vehicle on-street parking with parking pass provided.

The suite is located on the back side of the primary residence. You will access it through the drive way gate. The backyard patio is open space but other than that you will have complete privacy.

Please leave the Keys in the lock box and the Parking-Pass on the dining room table before you leave. There will be a $60 charge if the Keys are not returned at check-out and $200 charge if the Parking Pass is not returned.

The towels are soft and fluffy, the pillows are fresh and very comfortable, if you'd like to know where to buy them, we would be happy to share the info with you.

No candles, incense or any other burning in the premises.

We expect all of our guest to be respectful, keep the noise level down within the premise especially at nights (Quite hours: 10PM - 7AM).

Eco-friendly – please be considerate, conserve energy/water and recycle.

No moving or rearranging of furniture or furnishings. No red wine or colored drinks on furniture; host is available to troubleshoot all requests.

Wi-fi code provided on Guest Welcome Manual.

Approved guest access only – Absolutely NO unregistered guests without prior approval.

No parties or events – Please keep Alcohol to a minimum.

VERY IMPORTANT WARNING: Any guest who is over-drinking/drunk will be asked to leave the premise immediately accompanied by another sober guest. Once again sorry, Over-drink/Drunk is absolutely NOT welcome here!

No eating meals in bed.

Please always lock the door when you leave and be courteous to the neighbors.

If anything breaks, spills, stains, etc. please let us know ASAP.

The Check-out time is before or by 11:00AM. So, we do expect all of our guests to follow this timeline because we will have to prepare/clean/organize the place for the next guests to Check-in the next hours.

Please DO keep any voices/noises volumes (e.g. car music, conversations) LOW at all time while in the premises as signs of our respects to our good neighbors.

For energy conservation please always turn off all lights and the AC when you leave the suite or when they are not needed.

Once again, NO smoking or pet in or outside the house.

Any significant damage will result in a damage claim with Airbnb and may be charged to your account.

One of Albuquerque’s oldest neighborhoods, the Huning Highland neighborhood is bounded on the north by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue NE; on the east by I-25; on the south by Iron Avenue SE; and on the west by Broadway Boulevard SE. It is a fun and easy neighborhood to explore on foot. With its little frame houses, hidden gardens, good restaurants and a haunted hotel with a trendy rooftop bar, Huning Highland is where tourists and locals entertaining out-of-town guests. Huning Highland has had its ups and downs over the years the most notable being the changes caused by the arrival and eventual demise of America’s Mother Road, Route 66, which passes through the heart of the neighborhood as Central Avenue. As you walk the neighborhood today, you still see reminders of the bad times. It’s all part of the Huning Highland story, which is in many ways the story of Albuquerque itself. The good news is things have finally come full circle and the area is once again a desirable place to live. The following are notable restaurants all walking distance from 120 Walter Street SE.

The Artichoke Café at 424 Central Ave SE is an award-winning bistro specializing in new American dishes. Open for lunch and dinner. “Where artisan cocktails meet creative cuisine.”

Farina Pizzeria and Wine Bar at 510 Central Ave SE is open for lunch and dinner and has indoor and outdoor seating. Time Out Magazine named it one of the best pizza joints in the nation. “Artisanal pizza, eclectic Italian wine list and local brews with fantastic daily specials featuring seasonal local ingredients.”

The Grove Café and Market at 600 Central Ave SE was featured in the TV series Breaking Bad. The Grove has indoor and outdoor seating. They specialize in coffee, fresh local food and seasonal specials. “An artisan café serving breakfast, brunch and lunch.

The Range Café at 320 Central Ave SE is open from 8am - 8pm.
Ordinary food done extraordinarily well" with quirky atmosphere, friendly service and growing support for the local arts community.
