This idyllic country house is located in the most wonderful, secluded valley setting and is surrounded by ample countryside. Beautiful views of the garden and meadows can be seen from almost every room, and its remote location means the only sounds you can hear are those of the wildlife and babbling stream running right through the garden. Inside, the rooms are spacious yet homely making the house a perfect place for larger groups of up to 8. Original features have been kept throughout; rustic wooden beams, a wood burning stove and a traditional AGA all add to the cosy countryside feel. Upstairs, you can wake up to bucolic views from almost every bedroom. The large master room has an en-suite, whilst the other three bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath and shower.

With its extensive 8 acre south-westerly facing garden, this is a wonderful house to enjoy the very best of an English summer. Kids will love exploring the gardens, playing in the stream and bouncing around on the trampoline. Whilst adults relax from the terrace and take in the views! Dogs welcome with fee of £30/dog.

The house is ideally located to take full advantage of the nearby Quantock Hills and Blackdown Hills, two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also conveniently situated just half a mile from the A38 and 4 miles from the M5, so you can reach the beautiful North Devon beaches in a reasonable time. Here, there is consistent surf and multiple surf schools should you wish to learn.

Taunton itself is only 10 minutes away and has a good selection of cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. For days out, the infamous Sheppey's Cider Farm is just a 20 minute drive away, whilst Hestercombe House is just 10 minutes. The Georgian house and gardens are very highly regarded, there's a delightful cafe and great walks for everyone.
