Old Tresais is a homely Pembrokeshire cottage set in a rural location within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. There are views north to the Preseli hills and west to the St Davids Peninsula. The coastal path and beaches are within easy reach.
The cathedral city of St Davids is only a short drive away whilst Solva Woollen Mill and Solva itself (with its dog-friendly beach) are within easy walking distance. Both have a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
There are local taxis and buses.

Eignin
Old Tresais (originally the farmhouse section of a traditional longhouse) has a large open plan living space with lounge (with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove), dining and kitchen areas. There is a TV with DVD/VHS player and a small selection of DVDs and tapes. Please feel free to bring your own! There is also a CD/cassette player with a large number of tapes as well as a few books and magazines.
Adjoining is a separate bedroom with king size bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Upstairs are two crog lofts, both with access via spiral staircase. One forms the second bedroom and has a double futon and two chests of drawers. The other has a large work desk and can also be used for reading, playing card/board games, jigsaw puzzles etc.
These spiral staircases are not safe for toddlers. However, a travel cot is available for babies in arms (guests will need to bring their own bed linen).
To the rear of the property is a utility area with fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The utility area leads to a large conservatory with attached wetroom (power shower) and WC.
Broadband is available via WiFi, although this is very rural location and superfast speeds should not be expected. However, depending upon your provider, the local mobile 4G signal can be excellent.
There is ample parking for 2 cars in front of the property.
One well-behaved dog will be welcome.

The cottage is in a quiet rural location within the National Park yet has easy access to shops, restaurants and local beaches. As well as the nearby coastal walks there are plenty of walks from the property itself, including the old St Davids airfield which is possibly the best place in Pembrokeshire to see skylarks.

I used to work as an adventure travel tour leader, working in South America, Africa and Spain. About 10 years ago I decided to return home to Pembrokeshire and enjoy the coast which I think is unsurpassed anywhere. It is a land steeped in history with a profusion of wild flowers, birds and marine life, all adding interest to a fantastic variety of coastal and inland walks. For active visitors it is an adventure playground with first class sea kayaking, surfing, coasteering and climbing to be enjoyed. I still enjoy travelling with my partner on an independent basis, using local transport and accommodation where possible as this gives us a better understanding of the local culture. Trips have included Argentina and Chile, Mali, India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand (for a family visit). However, sharing the delights of Pembrokeshire probably gives me the greatest pleasure!
