On superb location in the Centre of Ljubljana, just 100 m from the Dragon Bridge, awaits for you cosy and very spacious family apartment. Since we are moving to the country for 6 months, it can become your temporary home!
It is located in the ground floor of the 160-years old house, and has around 90 sq.m./970 sq.ft. You might love its high ceiling, numerous arches, niche or loft.

(*) at the edge of the pedestrian zone, no noisy street to be heard

(*) high ceiling in majority of rooms (around 3.6 m/11.8 ft ).

(*) there is no air condition, since it is not needed – the natural coolness in summer is assured with very thick (0.8 m/2.6 ft) brick walls requesting small effort of guests (regular use of wooden shutters; regular freshening during the night/morning with open windows)

(*) altogehter four tables are available: two tables for meals (small "breakfast"-table in the kitchen; big dining table is in the living room) and two tables for work (TV/PC table, children's writing table)

(*) all four beds are located in the wooden loft in the bedroom (double-bed is in the ground part of the loft, two single-beds are in the upper part of the loft)

(*) additional two floor-mattresses can be put anywhere on the floor or on the sofa

(*) apartment is in the ground floor; there are no stairs to enter the building, however there are two stairs inside the apartment (between entrance room and living room)

(*) parking is FREE in the nearby public garage

Guest will be able to access all rooms of the apartment. However they will not be able to access all wardrobes.

Tourist tax as an extra cost:

The unpleasant thing is the Tourist tax, which one can consider "price of the city" (and not at all the extension to the "price of the apartment"). Since you are tourists every apartment owner in Ljubljana has to collect the Tourist tax and forward it in total (100 %) to the authorities of the City of Ljubljana along with the reporting of your stay. New Regulation on the Tourist Tax in the City of Ljubljana (which entered into force on January 1st 2019) added to the existent amount of the Tourist tax 2.50 EUR also the Promotional tax of 0.63 EUR. They sum up to 3.13 EUR per person per night. See e.g. Tourist tax on visitljubljana web page. So, unfortunately, Ljubljana is among the capitals with the largest tourist tax in Europe!

To sum up: The tourist tax 3.13 EUR per person per night (for children aged 7-17 it is 1.57 EUR, and for those aged up to 6 it is free) will be collected on the spot. Please prepare cash at your arrival or leave the corresponding amount on the table at your departure. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Excellent tap water:

In Ljubljana the tap water is excellent for drinking. Water from the tap is completely natural as it is not processed with any prior chemical treatments and is safe to drink.
For that reason there is no need to buy bottled water in stores while in Ljubljana and Slovenia. Please note: Ljubljana is one of the few European capitals with very high quality drinking water.

Close to the apartment are two notorious streets of Ljubljana. The street Petkovškovo nabrežje, running along Ljubljanica river, is attractive due to nice cafes, confectioneries, bars and restaurants on the sunny river bank. The street Trubarjeva cesta is packed with small shops, snackbars and other places to eat.
There is a pleasant walk towards the Tivoli Park, and a short trip to the Ljubljana Castle (the 80 m ascent takes around 15 minutes; the castle hill is also accessible with funicular).
