Perfect for sailors and close friends, this loft-style space just says "cool"! Mid-century bunk bed and trundle, plus a futon if you want to add more friends. Just steps to Thames St and Bowens Wharf, this is as close as it gets to Newport's center.
If you like unique architectural spaces over the standard unmemorable room, this is for you. More hip and fun rather than luxurious, you will ending up loving this space. But being at ground zero for all Newport has to offer, you will have trouble staying indoors.
The space is on the ground floor of Fire Station No. 1, built in 1886. The building currently houses a small office and an antique store adjacent. There is no on-site parking, but a public lot is just a block away.
