Our home is a modern and lovely 2 bedroom apt on the East Side of Providence. It is the perfect place for business or pleasure. Walk to restaurants, cafes, bars, cute shops, and wine stores. 2 miles to Brown & RISD, 3 miles to Downtown, Johnson & Wales and Providence College. Off-street parking is provided for 1 vehicle.
Fitness Buffs: It's a 3 minute drive to LA Fitness, Gold's Gym, and Planet Fitness. They offer special day rates. (check online listings)
Our 2nd floor home is spacious, sunny, and very comfortable. Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace or chill and read a great book after a long day. Stay home and make a meal in the roomy kitchen with the cooking essentials you need. The living room is "Couch Potato Approved" with cozy furnishings, Cable TV, and Hi-Speed Wifi. We added a few extra amenities just in-case you forgot them!
Go for a run or take a long walk in the large park just at the end of our block surrounded by large Oak trees.
We provide off-street parking for 1 vehicle. The driveway is long and very narrow at 90 inches wide (approximately 7-1/2 feet). It can easily fit 1 compact, mid-sized, or small SUV. Please confirm you car fits that criteria.
Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer in the basement of the house.

TODDLERS: Note that the apartment is not 100% toddler proof incase that is a priority for you.
BEDROOMS: The twin beds have firm mattresses and the queen bed has a medium mattress.
PARKING: The driveway is long and narrow then opens up in the back of the house. The driveway is 90 inches wide (approx 7-1/2 feet). It can easily fit 1 compact, mid-sized, or small SUV in 1 parking space. Guests must park their car all the way in the back and on the left side since we will need to pull out of the driveway.
Street parking is OK during the day but the City of Providence does NOT allow overnight street parking without a residential permit. You may get a ticket! It is very important that you plan ahead and confirm your vehicle width. Please contact us for any questions.
CHECKING OUT: Please follow these simple steps when checking out.
1) Strip bed & place flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow cases onto bed you used.
2) Place used towels onto bathroom floor.
3) Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
4) Place trash in trashcans provided in kitchen and bath.
5) Return sandals into the hallway.
6) Lock the front door when leaving.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES: Check-in 3pm. Check-out 11am. We apologize if we can't accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We will try to meet your needs as best we can. However, during busy weeks we need the time to prep the apartment.
NO SHOES PLEASE: We have a "Shoes-Off" policy for the apartment. We ask guests to take off their shoes before entering our home to help maintain cleanliness and preserve its enjoyment for future guests. Indoor sandals are provided for our guests if needed.
LAUNDRY: Laundry is available in the basement. Hours are Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat-Sun 11am-8pm.
TEMPORARY RENTAL: Both parties (guests and homeowner) agree that this is a temporary rental of less than a month (unless this is pre-arranged with the homeowner) and is not considered a tenancy.
We love Airbnb and we look forward to visiting more locations in the future. I studied in Paris, lived in Germany and travelled extensively through Europe and Asia for work and pleasure. I've met countless people who welcomed me and made me feel at home through their kind hospitality.
