Cozy, charming, and spacious "mother in law" apartment within an artist's Montrose 1920s bungalow. Super comfortable, high ceilings with a separate entrance and private patio. Located in one of Houston's oldest and most interesting neighborhoods--it's the ideal location for walking to nearby restaurants and parks.
By car, I am also approximately 8 minutes from downtown destinations and the medical center.
Great apartment. Central A/C. New queen sized bed, pillows, sheets, and queen sized air mattress, as well as a daybed that serves as a single. New appliances in kitchen, just installed. Roomy and well lit, this is a great place to chill, and there's a private deck and private entrance. It's so comfortable you might not want to go out at all! Cable premium channels and WiFi.
Guests will have access to entire apartment, which is separate from the rest of the bungalow. There is also a great private patio that feels secluded in the middle of an urban area.

I am available for most needs and have lived in the Montrose area for 30 years. I know the city and its environs well`

There are pubs and bars around the corner from the house, and the street parking is harder to find on weekends. You may park in the gated driveway if you can not find a parking spot or simply want to feel more secure.
Regrettably, Hurricane Harvey submerged the most fantastic dog park in the area and there are no large fenced in areas for dogs close by. There are, however, parks and playgrounds only a few blocks away.
I have a small and very friendly husky who will never bother you but will run away if the front gate is left open. I take responsibility as much as I can (all the time, basically), but there might be a time when the dog is outside and you are entering or leaving the property. If this occurs (which it won't if humanly possible), I respectfully request that you NEVER leave the front gate open or unlatched. Thank you!
