Our home is a Victorian farmhouse on 7 acres in an apple orchard with a redwood grove, a pond, barns, and over 200 apple trees. The main house, originally built in 1910, remodeled in 1996, is surrounded by an English garden and is on a quiet secluded lane. The entire upstairs is a lovely private suite with a private entrance, booked to only one party at a time. I am a professional artist and Al is a retired Math teacher and an author of children's books. Come visit our little piece of heaven!
The entire upstairs is a private suite with a private entrance. One or both large bedrooms and a full bathroom are available. We host only one party at a time. So, no matter whether there is one guest, two, or five, the entire upstairs is yours. Extra charges are only incurred if there are more than two people. Each bedroom is quite spacious and there is a separate sitting area with a mini frig, Keurig coffer maker, toaster and small kitchen table for eating or using as desk space. There will be a continental breakfast available each morning, coffee, tea, juice, and fruit (some from our trees, when in season). Our microwave in the kitchen downstairs and the laundry area with an ironing board are available if you should need them.
"The Hollies" is named for a holly tree in our front yard. We love the branches at Christmastime! You can walk the seven acre property, the quiet lane, and visit our redwood grove. There are several areas for a picnic, including a lovely grape arbor. Our pond is not fenced so care with children is advised and there is no barn access without the host. There are also many other lovely places to walk and children love to see the occasional deer or the cows in the pasture nearby. Relax on the porch in the evening and on a clear night there are so many stars! City dwellers love it here!

We will meet and greet our guests and help them to understand all the amenities. We will also tell them about the area, the wineries, the coast, Sonoma County and all it's charms. We will have winery maps available as well.

I am a Sonoma County artist, my husband Al is a retired high school Math teacher and we live on 7 acres on the outskirts of Sebastopol, California. I have been painting all my life and love the inspiration of Sonoma County. I paint in oils and acrylics, some are plein air and some are studio works from my imagination. Al has just had his first book published, and his second is now being edited. They are mystery stories for children ages 8 to 12.
We have 5 acres of apples, a large redwood grove, and a pond on our property. Our house is a Victorian farm house with a white picket fence. We have lived here since 1990 and love it!
