If you love the outdoors and hiking - you will love our house, we're a stones throw from beautiful Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, 30 minutes down the road from Waterton Lakes National Park and a similar distance to Castle Mountain Ski Hill.
We are on a beautiful, remote acreage, 16 kilometres from the town of Pincher Creek. We built our home in 2013 and have recently developed our walk out basement as guest space. The suite has a separate entrance, private kitchen and bathroom solely for guest use. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, we have a sofa bed in the guest living area which folds into a double bed - if you wish to use the sofa bed we recommend bringing sleeping bags. Please contact us first if you would like to bring additional guests.
Guests have private access to a self contained walk in basement suite with one bedroom with queen sized bed, full kitchen and bathroom.

We have limited cell phone reception, no wifi and no cable television - be prepared to have to talk to one another!
We have 14 free ranging chickens, 6 ducks, 2 horses and a couple of dogs. Guest's pets are expected to be well behaved and under control at all times. We request that dogs are leashed while in our yard - we have had the misfortune of a guest's dog killing our poultry - which was distressing for both us and our guests.
Pets are not to be left on the property unattended. Please contact us first if you would like to bring more than one pet.
Pets are not to be on the furniture - please bring your pet's own bedding if he requires it.
We are on a septic system and guests need to be mindful of what goes into the septic tank. Quiet time is after 10 pm
Hello! We are Jocelyn, Scott and our twin daughters Emily and Daisy- we have been living on our acreage in rural Alberta for just over 3 years. We love living so close to nature and waking up to birdsong or the elks calling in the morning. Scott works as an electrician in Pincher Creek and originally hails from Vancouver Island, I work for the government in Community and Social Sevices and made the move to Canada from Wiltshire, England 12 years ago. In our spare time you’ll find us out in the mountains on cross country skis or in hiking boots, we also enjoy our small flock of chickens and riding our two horses.
