I try to keep interaction to a minimum, for your benefit, of course, so that you feel comfortable and private, and so that you have time to explore the city. I am happy, however, to provide any information on the city and its resources that I can offer, and I love interacting with guests if they would like to

If you like to run, bike, and/or take beautiful walks, we have an incredible path less than a block away. We're also two blocks from the river and some trails in the woods. Two blocks in the other direction takes you into a nice business district with stores and restaurants.
We ask for respectful guests who will treat this place like they would their own. We will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable and at-home here, and you will have total privacy since this room/apt has a separate entrance.
We prefer shoes to be left on the carpet at the door in order to keep the place as clean as possible for everyone. We provide you with an information sheet when you check in listing the wifi code, our contact details, and other info you may need during your stay.
Originally from New Jersey, but Providence has been my wonderful home for 10 years. I moved here to take a position as a professor at a local university, and I never plan to leave! Since my wife, Phoebe, and I know Providence and Rhode Island very well, we would be happy to introduce you to the many wonderful things this city and state have to offer, including exceptional restaurants, exciting entertainment, beautiful beaches, state parks, and historic tourist attractions.
