Newly remodeled, gorgeous Craftsman home located in the historic town of Oregon City only 12 miles to downtown Portland. Home is walking distance to the center of Oregon City with great coffee shops, restaurants & antique shops. 1.5 miles to West Linn (short drive across the bridge) & less than 7 miles to Lake Oswego. With 5 bedrooms, an outdoor gazebo, kids playhouse, & outdoor fireplace, we are a perfect place to host large families & groups while exploring Portland & the surrounding areas.
THE HOUSE: This newly remodeled 1930’s craftsman home is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, accommodating up to 12 people.
Each of the 4 bedrooms has custom built woodwork and great natural light (skylights in all three upper bedrooms). All bedrooms have brand new, high end queen sized mattresses and top quality natural cotton sheets, blankets and goose down comforters (and down alternative comforters for those with allergies).
In addition to the bedrooms, there is a library/office space on the first floor with a sectional sofa that opens up to a queen sized bed. On the main floor there is also a beautifully furnished living room, dining room and full bathroom. The lower bathroom has been recently remodeled and has a tiled bathtub, shower and two sinks. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped with everything needed for large family cooking! Although the kitchen was recently remodeled, we have maintained the original wood cabinets and Italian tiles and tiled mural.
OUTSIDE: You will enjoy your own large and private enclosed yard with an outside gazebo perfect for hosting small family and group gatherings. The gazebo has a large brick fireplace and plentiful seating. There is also a hammock.
KIDS PLAYHOUSE: Even the adults will be tempted to enjoy this amazing kid’s playhouse furnished with all the essentials for a kids tea party, schoolhouse and disco party (it even has a disco ball!)
GARDEN: During late spring, summer and early fall, we have an abundance of roses to enjoy.
PARKING: There is abundant free street parking right next to the house. The only time you might have to park a block away from the house is on a Friday night during the football season as many residents come out to watch the local high school football games.
BREAKFAST: We do not serve breakfast, but offer complimentary coffee and tea. We provide our favorite coffee roasted fresh from local Portland roasters. When in season, you are welcome to partake of the raspberries and blueberries in the garden. Singer Hill Cafe and Caufield House downtown Oregon City both have great coffee and breakfasts.
WASHER AND DRYER and detergent is available in the basement. Please, out of respect for the downstairs tenant, do not do laundry between 9pm and 9am.
You have access to the whole house, yard and basement, except for the basement apartment which has it’s own separate entrance and will share use of the laundry facility. Please no laundry before 9am and after 9pm.

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Portland, OR. For most of my 20s I lived on a permaculture farm in Hawaii in an intentional community. I also lived for 2 years in Uganda working as an art teacher at a deaf school. I returned to Portland 12 years ago, excited to be home, and with a renewed appreciation for all that this city has to offer. I am an artist by passion and an art therapist by profession. I love traveling-locally and abroad-and connecting with diverse people and cultures. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience of Portland and the surrounding areas.
