Meditate in the forest and reconnect with life.

Through a series of guided invitations, I’m going to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and connect with nature and with yourself. The science tells us that spending mindful time in the forest has some incredible health benefits, like boosting our immune system and fighting cancer. But what people generally find to be the best part of forest therapy is the effortless sense of tranquility than one can find when one stops thinking and starts feeling.

We’ll do a forest therapy walk in the style of Shinrin Yoku, share our stories, and end with a tea ceremony featuring foraged plants and the best cookie in LA, courtesy of Red Bread. I strongly believe that the forest has medicine and wisdom for everyone in every moment; what will you find on our walk?

Ben ‘Crow’ Page is a certified forest therapy guide and trainer, council carrier and alternative educator based in Los Angeles. In 2015 he founded Shinrin Yoku LA LLC. Since his practice began, Ben has been featured in such publications as Women’s Health, USA TODAY, Sierra Magazine, Washington Post and People. Ben also mentors and trains guides with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Amazing experience, where you have a chance to connect with the nature, listen, smell, feel. It's great for everybody. Ben was a great storyteller, with great energy and vibe. He makes you feel very comfortable and calm. U suggest to dress warm, and maybe bring a blanket. It's mountain forest ;) Overall, that's a unique experience that you don't want to miss !!

This experience was the perfect blend of feeling included in a group, while also feeling free to be on your own and explore everything around you and within you. I had a great time connecting to nature and also to new friends under the guidance of Ben. He creates an open and nonjudgmental space and is also very knowledgeable and kind. I hope to attend another one of his activities soon!

Ben's forest walk was unlike any hike I had ever been on. It's changed the way I'll walk through the forest from now on. Ben's guidance, companionship and invitations were wonderful and I left feeling very connected to the group of us who spent the afternoon together. A peaceful, friendly, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Will be doing this again soon!
