I'm passionate about wagashi, Japanese confectionery. I lead workshops locally, in France, and for exchange students. My handmade confections are served in Japanese restaurants in the Shibuya area.

This was a very authentic experince that only locals can show you the goma buddhist ceremony and the local wagashi shop were so interesting! even Sana had to improvise due to the rainy day she took us to a very interesting exposition related to food. Sana let us express our creativity even if our technic was poor. Thank you Sana and AIR bnb for this experince!

The most amazing experience I have ever had in Tokyo. Sana is kind, friendly and patient. She organized the trip very well and taught us patiently. And making Wagashi myself is very very interesting. Strongly recommend.

This experience with Sana was everything I hoped for and more! It was amazing and fun and Sana was so, so sweet! I had a wonderful time both making the wagashi and enjoying all of the different places that Sana took us to, to help inspire the creative process. This experience was 100% worth it and I highly recommend it! Thank you again Sana for the wonderful time!

This experience with Sana went beyond my expectations. She's so lovely and polite and very insightful. She took us to a Buddhist ceremony which surprisingly made me feel at ease and refreshed. The garden we went to was absolutely breathtaking and calming. I wish I could go there everyday. When it came time to make the wagashi, she was extremely helpful. She's inspired me to continue making wagashi and learning more. Hopefully, one day I'll be as good as her. After class, she and her adorable mother made us a traditional home meal. It was so good! I would pay to eat that in a restaurant any day! I absolutely recommend taking this class. If you want to learn about wagashi and also see a side of Tokyo you probably wouldn't see on your own, then this is the experience for you! Thank you so much again Sana and to your mother for an amazing memory I'll cherish forever!

Sana is an excellent host and guide to bringing you into the world of Wagashi (Japanese sweets). There is a beautiful artistry and cultural connection and history of these traditional Japanese sweets. Sana explains this very well. My wife and I took this experience and thoroughly enjoyed learning about sweets, then making them, then eating them again. It was a great experience that we recommend to anyone even slightly interested in wagashi.
